I just got a new Windows
11 Home - build 22621 laptop, (MSI GE76 Raider, 12th Core i7-12700H, 64GB Ram,
4TB SSD. I'm having a few issues with Zenpoint and the new machine. I would greatly
appreciate some help or information from anyone out there.
90% of the time, when
running zenpoint music center and playing music, clicking the home button won't
get me back to the home screen so I can either end Zenpoint or go to admin to
adjust settings and come back. Most times, I have to kill the process and
deal with all that mess and reload music (per my setting to do so) which is
less than ideal. When I click the home button, I don't get any of the
home programs (tiles), just the banner on the bottom that shows what song is
playing and the Back/Pause/Next/Volume buttons. I can click that banner to
go back into Zenpoint Music Center. With
every 10 tries or so, clicking the home button will get the program tiles that include the
"Setup" tile so I can then click the "Administration" tile
to make changes. In addition, on a somewhat random basis, Zenpoint will
freeze (music will stop, screensaver will show how many seconds are remaining
in the song). As a test if I put three songs in a playlist and let the
play and then loop and replay, after about 3-10 times through, Zenpoint will
eventually freeze.
I'm looking for some
clues on how to resolve this, as it is pretty unusable, the way things are now.
I did do some searching on the Forum but didn't find anything Windows 11
specific items that I thought might help. I did see something about
windows 10 and removing SQL files, not sure if that would help or not? I haven't tried this yet.
I have reached out to
Zenpoint Support (on the contact page as well as an email to Rick) five days
ago, but haven't heard anything back as of yet.
Thanks
in advance for any help from anyone on things to try to resolve this. |
