Ive got a pretty large music connection , about 30,000 songs loaded on a 2TB USB drive.  Everytime i start Music Center have to go through a 15 min load process of songs and artwork .   anyway to stop this?  the content doesnt change that often..

I'm sorry but I don't have an answer for you but I have about 100.000 records on mine and it only takes about 1min or less

Maybe upgrade the program  it should only go through changes to your collection  and you can stop that in admin  

all you have to do is go into settings and make sure  "search for new music on startup" is not checked, done.
